Larry Tallman is president of Managed Health Network, Inc. (MHN), Health Net, Inc.’s behavioral health services subsidiary. Mr. Tallman also is chief sales officer for Large Group, Major Accounts, and Labor and Trust for Health Net, Inc.

Mr. Tallman was appointed president of MHN in December 2013. Previously, he had responsibility for MHN sales and account management. As president, Mr. Tallman’s role expands to include regulatory, contractual obligations, and plan-based responsibilities in the states in which MHN does business. As chief sales officer, he oversees sales and account management and financials for commercial large group.

Mr. Tallman joined Health Net in October 2009 as vice president of Sales. Since that time, he has held increasingly responsible positions at the company.

Mr. Tallman has nearly 30 years of experience in the sales, marketing and account management arenas. He previously served as executive vice president of Sales and Marketing for MGIS, a privately held benefits administrator. Prior to that, Mr. Tallman worked at Blue Shield of California; Ingenix, a health care technology subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group; and WorkingRx, a pharmacy benefits management company.

Mr. Tallman received his bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Kansas and Advance Degree Studies at Michigan State University.
